Realme confirms that it will bring the Realme 12 series 5G to Indonesia.
It is stated that the Realme 12 Series 5G will be released in Indonesia on February 29. This device will also have powerful photography capabilities thanks to the embedded periscope telephoto lens.
Realme Indonesia Marketing Director Ellen Zhou said, Realme is starting 2024 with a photography smartphone for young people, with a periscope telephoto lens in the Numbers series, Realme 12 series.
One that was released was the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. "This will allow more young people to enjoy flagship class technology," he said.
Ellen further said that instead of large megapixels, a periscope telephoto lens will provide the best quality, clearest and more detailed photos.
Underlining the Realme 12 Pro Plus, Realme said that this cellphone's photography capabilities are faster than other smartphones in its segment.
This cannot be separated from the hardware and software support used. Including one of the Omnivision OV648 camera sensors which is supported by 3x optical zoom and 6x in-zoom sensor for long-range and sharper photos.
The Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G Android HP sensor is 1/2 inch in size which is claimed to be larger than that of flagship smartphones.
Portrait and Bokeh modes
Not only telephoto photography, Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G is also supported by 3x portrait mode with a natural bokeh effect, even when taken from a distance.
In fact, Realme boasted that this capability makes the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G able to compete with professional cameras or DSLRs.
Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G will be supported by 120x super zoom capability. This makes it the first smartphone in its segment to feature this capability.
This smartphone is also equipped with a 50MP camera with OIS using the IMX890 sensor.
Design
Apart from excellence in the camera segment, the Realme 12 Series 5G will also be supported by a premium design inspired by luxury watches.
This design is a collaboration between Realme Design Studio and Ollivier Savéo. He is a luxury watch craftsman who is known for his collaborations with various well-known brands such as Rolex, Roger Dolby, Piaget, Breitling, and Quentin.
This collaboration provides a touch of elegance to the Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G with Golden Fluted Bezel through a large rounded design on the camera section. Apart from that, there are detailed accents around the camera housing like a luxury watch.
Coupled with the support of Premium Vegan Leather material, this smartphone is not only elegant, but also comfortable to hold.
Realme 12 Pro Plus specifications
It is known that the Realme 12 Pro Plus will have a curved AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It is possible that this smartphone screen measures 6.7 inches and has FHD+ resolution.
For the engine, Realme is said to be embedding the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset combined with 12GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. Turning to the camera, this smartphone has a 50MP main lens with an IMX890 sensor.
Then, as revealed in the previous session, this Realme cellphone is equipped with a periscope telephoto lens. Realme claims that this smartphone uses the largest periscope telephoto sensor in its segment, namely the 1.2 inch OV64B sensor.
This smartphone is also equipped with next generation lossless zoom capabilities. This Realme cellphone offers lossless zoom capabilities at 0.6x, 1x, 2x, 3x, up to 6x.
It was also revealed that the photography capabilities of the Realme 12 Pro Plus are supported by customization of the MasterShot algorithm, the result of collaboration with Qualcomm. So, this smartphone is capable of processing RAW domains.
