Pogba Mini Admires 3 Figures at Man United, Cristiano Ronaldo's Name Isn't Noted

The player nicknamed Mini Pogba, Kobbie Mainoo, admires three figures at Man United. However, the name Cristiano Ronaldo did not come to his attention.

Kobbi Mainoo gives clues about his favorite figures at Man United.

Mainoo has given a new color to the Man United squad in the 2023-2024 season.

His appearance made the Red Devils fans happy.

Mainoo has been tipped to be one of the club's future young players.

So far Mainoo has made 23 appearances with the Man United senior team.

His playing style is similar to Paul Pogba, making him suitable to play as a number six or eight midfielder.

Even though he is only 18 years old, Mainoo has shown his maturity in playing.

He showed this when Man United eliminated Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Liverpool's three mainstay midfielders, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis MacAllister and Wataru Endo, were even confused.

Slowly but surely Mainoo will sooner or later become a star player for the Red Devils.

Even though he is not yet a star, he admits that he admires 3 charismatic figures at Old Trafford.

Uniquely, there is no Cristiano Ronaldo name on the list of his idols at Man United.

Even though Cristiano Ronaldo shared a dressing room with him last season.

If there is no Ronaldo, then Mainoo chooses Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Eric Cantona.

He views Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Eric Cantona as club legends.

"I will choose (Wayne) Rooney, (Paul) Scholes and King Eric (Cantona)," said Mainoo as quoted by the Sport Bible.

"It was a little before my time, but I still appreciate it," added the English midfielder.

Mainoo has just received his first call-up to the England national team.

Unfortunately, his debut with The Three Lions had a bitter end.

The reason is, in the FIFA Matchday match which took place at Wembley Stadium, Sunday (24/3/2024) early morning local time, England lost 0-1 to Brazil.

Real Madrid's prospective wonderkid, Endrick, became a hero for the Samba Country with his single goal.
