English football expert, Chris Sutton gave his prediction regarding the Southampton vs Manchester United match. He assessed that the guest will win the match.

However, Sutton believes that in this match MU will return to winning ways. "Southampton have lost three of their first three games this season, and that is certainly not a good start," said Sutton in his column on BBC Sports.
Sutton said that MU also had almost the same problem as Southampton. However, he considered that MU was slightly superior to the host.
He considered that MU had better player material so that they would make The Saints overwhelmed in this match.
"They will have difficulty facing Manchester United later, even though Erik Ten Hag's team is also in a difficult situation. United has much better quality than Southampton," continued Sutton.
Sutton also predicted that Southampton will try to play openly against Manchester United. He considered this tactical choice would make the home team lose to the visitors.
"Southampton will likely try to play openly in this match, and that means they will be vulnerable to letting Manchester United create many chances," Sutton continued.
"I saw Marcus Rashford undergoing an extra training session some time ago and I predict he and Manchester United will win this match with a score of 0-2," concluded the expert.
The match at St Mary's Stadium has the potential to be a debut for Manuel Ugarte.
The Uruguayan midfielder has officially become Manchester United's final signing of the summer and he has been confirmed to be involved in the match.
